It is easily forgotten that Lionsgate not only now controls a huge library of films inherited from other labels (Vestron, Vidmark, Artisan), there are a substantial number of movies from their previous incarnation as Cinepix Film Properties that were sublicensed to other companies as well. The batch of titles that had been released on DVD by Universal (GODS AND MONSTERS, JESUS' SON, AMERICAN PSYCHO) have thankfully been rereleased, but there are others that were handled by Columbia, Republic, and others that have not; many of these got substandard handling with no features, and these discs are OOP. I'd like to see new editions of these in the future:
THE DAYTRIPPERS (maybe a new 1.66 transfer of the Super 16 negative, with Greg Mottola commentary)
HEAVY (James Mangold and Pruitt Taylor Vince commentary)
THE PILLOW BOOK
THE YOUNG POISONER'S HANDBOOK
HOLLOW REED
ANGEL BABY (Michael Rymer commentary)
THE MONSTER
