Red Hand Gang, what's the holdup?

Three weeks ago I ordered The Red Hand Gang from Deep Discount. I was told the item was "Out Of Stock" and I was prepared to wait, as this has happed before. Three weeks later I still haven't heard from them. This is the longest delay I've ever had. (BTW Amazon also lists this as "Out of Stock")

What Gives?

I ordered a few serials from DD several weeks ago, of which almost all were reported as out of stock when ordered. Little by little they have started showing up in my mail box. I generally do not receive any notices from DD when an item ships. As a result, I have to check the website periodically myself for a status update. Also, while media mail seemed to go through fairly quickly during the sale, these are defintely taking the 5 to 10 business days to get to me.

I like to get the lowest price which is why I use DD on occasion but I've learned not to expect a speedy delivery. Best to forget about it and be surprised when it shows up. After many years of using them I've only had one occasion where an ordered was cancelled on their part because an item could not be obtained.

I have sent E-Mail to Deep Discount, Virgil Films and Entertainment and TV Shows on DVD asking for an explanation for this delay. A company should not accept orders for a product if they cannot get it shipped out in a reasonable amount of time. I have also let the first two companies know I will send out complaints to the proper authorities, including the Better Business Bureau, if I do not receive either the product or a reasonable explanation on the reason for this delay.

Just want to update everyone, this issue has been RESOLVED! Virgil Films is sending me a Copy, The Order from Deep Discount has been Cancelled.
