MGM-HDTV..more great sci-fi/horror tonite

Tonite at 1235 PST (35 minutes after midnite), MGM HD cable is playing "It! The Terror from Beyond Space!"

The reason why I'm telling you this, is because last week they showed "The Monster that Challenged the World" in 1.85:1..which was the scope it was filmed in. We only have the crappy 1.37:1 version from MGM on Sd, including "TMTCTW."

MAYBE TONITE THEY'LL SHOW THIS IN 1.85:1 TOO!!!

I can't wait to stay up and see it. i hope we won't be disappointed.

Oh, I forgot to mention that they're also showing "Blood on Satan's Claw!" TONITE AT 9 PM!!! Since ot's a Region 2 Sd release only, this will be a real treat for us that don't have a region free DVD player!

Blood on Satan's Claw was a beautiful print and It! The Terror from Beyond Space was a print just as great or better than The Day the Earth Stood Still.

The opening shot of the camera panning across Mars surface was almost 3-D...the print was that perfect!!

All in all, a super HD night. I wish I had them for my collection, though!
