Toshiba 40H80 - strange convergence issue

I have a strange issue with a Toshiba 40H80 set.  It has worked fine up until a few days ago, when one day upon powering up the screen colors were all off.  Right away it looked like a convergence issue to me, so I went into the service menu like I've done before to tune it, but this time what I saw surprised me:

It was way off, but mostly just the green grid.  I don't know what caused it to suddenly do this, but the real kicker is that I can't realign the grid, no amount of adjustment brings it back to true.  It almost seems to me like a hardware issue of some kind.

Anyone have any ideas of what my problem is here?  I'm stumped....
