Well, I will be doing my best to run this as a double bill with Night of the Creeps on Halloween night!  Hope the pre-orders come through in time.  Here is the Amazon listing for Trick 'R Treat.  I'm sure HTF can put an affiliate code on that or something.  Really looking forward to seeing this!

I am looking forward to this too. It is a shame that it did not play in theaters. At least in my neck of the woods it did not.

The production itself has quite a story behind it, as Warner seemed almost determined to bury it, but internet buzz from festival screenings gave it a new life.  AICN is responsible for a lot of that buzz:

Just got done watching it myself.  Very, very nice!  Would make a good double bill with Creepshow.  Perfect Halloween fare, as you would expect.

I watched this Friday night and can highly recommend it.  Lots of fun.

Skip reading a review because I'm sure it will likely spoil the surprises and the fun of this very fresh Halloween movie.

I went into it blind and really enjoyed it.  The Creepshow comparison sounds accurate (haven't seen that in forever though, but remember liking it).

P.S.  Excellent Blu-ray as well.  Great picture and audio.  Some good extras too.

I just watched this on BD tonight after wanting to see it since seeing the trailer before 300 two years ago.

Loved it! Captures what Halloween night feels like and uses it's mythology to tell some pretty grim tales indeed.

And it goes one step further by inventing a great watcher of the holiday in Sam, a diminutive demon who is the keeper of the traditions of Halloween.
When Jack Bauer was in 2nd grade he killed a terrorist for show and tell.

I watched this over the weekend and I was very entertained by the film and thought the BRD was excellent.
