  Have been waiting for this a long, long time. 
 Gene Hackman's first film, early Telly Savalas, John Chandler Davis' first also.
Joy Harmon, 6 years before she was "The Girl" in Cool Hand Luke. 
In 1961 I thought John Davis was very scary looking, as I was meant to. 
Not long ago I saw him in "The Young Savages" also from 1961, and though he looked a lot like Bud Cort, which is a whole lot less scary. 
Funny how 45 years can change your perspective.
Bud: "Deanie, you're a nice girl." 
Wilma Dean: "I'm not. I'm not a nice girl."

I just checked and this is on TCM, not HBO.  But I have the TiVo set to record it--have not seen it since I was a kid.  Thanks for the heads up!

Obviously from the content, I'm quite old and make more of these errors all the time. 

One thing that hasn't changed at HTF, the rif-raf still can't edit a topic header.
