Budget receiver that does analog to digital conversion to hdmi out

I am simply looking for suggestion on a budget receiver that does analog to digital conversion and outputs through hdmi. I only need 2 hdmi inputs, 1 component, 1 composite, and one s-video. I can sacrifice the s-video if I have to as it seems they are getting a bit more rare. If s-video is not present I need 2 sets of composite inputs. I also need at least 1 optical input and one coaxial. I only require 5.1 surround, and I'm running small Klipsch speakers so I don't need a ton of power. I currently have a Panasonic SA-XR57 and want to simplify everything and only have 1 cable running to my TV so I no longer have to change inputs on my TV. Thanks!

Denon 790, Onkyo 607, Pioneer 919?

Although if you are merely trying to simplify operation, it might be easier & much cheaper to just get a Harmony universal remote, which will switch both the receiver & TV for you automatically as you switch activities.

Any pros and cons of these 3 units? I've owned my current Panasonic, a Yamaha & a HK, but none of the brands you mentioned. Thanks.

denon790 as good as any in price range im very happy with mine .
 is 7.1 channel @ 90rms per channel , im running it as a 5.1 its pretty awesome . sounds good ,
 will handle any inputs ill ever need . 4x hdmi in, its a good lower range receiver. it can convert more formats than most normal people will ever need.
 if you like sony tvs 790 have some good format to enhance bravias, i think for the price the others arent quite up to spec.
 but ...............the remotes suck bigtime i cant beleive they make them like they do . they are really painfull to use.
  this is the only down side , i used to own pioneer and think denon are way better at  lower mid range gear. after owning 790 ill only go back to pioneer at high end level if i do . dunno about onkyo? but have noticed theres alot of cheap near new returned ones in department stores . some with the hdmi imputs repaired ??  hpe this helps you
