I believe that in an earlier "few words" regarding the Blu-ray of Dexter I opined that he would be the only serial killer with whom I'd be delighted to share a extended meal.

My feeling continues as the series grows richer and deeper in Season Three.  Along with the story line, the overall quality holds true to the initial seasons.

Shot on HD-CAM, 1080p/24, the images ring as brightly and cleanly as the Florida sunshine.

Dexter is one of a handful of episodic television fare (along with the likes of Lost, and to a certain perspective, Weeds) that stands well above the rest.  The Blu-ray release from Showtime via CBS/Paramount is prime time quality all the way.  Like a long novel, this is 629 minutes that are very difficult to put down.

Highly Recommended.
