The Disclaimer
Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Nothing from the New list, but Corpse Bride on Blu at BestBuy for $9.95 sounds good.

I'd consider getting Crank on Blu too, but for some reason my local Best Buy never, absolutely never, carries that title (and I know, because they put it on sale every other month yet they never have it.)

Probably I should be saving up for some of the series coming soon though...

Review of the obscure Eagles Over London.

http://monsterhunter.coldfusionvideo.com/2009/03/eagles-over-london-1969/

Quote:
Captain Paul is the quintessential soldier, adapting and improvising so that he can get laid under any circumstances. Thus it is that when he and Meg are back at his place and the bombs begin to fall, the sirens go off, and lights start to flash that the real air raid takes place right in Paul’s pants!

Oh Best Buy, why must you taunt me?  Target around here never has a single copy of Blow when it's on sale, so I'll be picking that up.  And I Love You, Man.  And Air Force One ($14.99).  And Any Given Sunday.  Maybe even The Devil Wears Prada.

And SuperFriends.

Oy...

I'll probably grab Starman this week. And I'll stop in to Best Buy and check out their Blu-ray sale.

Thanks for the prices, guys!

I'd still be interested to hear how the RoundUp looks to everybody out there--especially if you're having any problems.

A special shout out to Man-Fei Wong for his above-and-beyond help, this past week, in formatting the RoundUp so that pictures and tables can be maximized to their fullest potential without negatively impacting various browsers who don't play nice with the new HTF platform.  I hope someday to be able to stretch these tables horizontally as I would like to have more space for titles and I would like the tables to have a little "breathing room"

A note:  next week's RoundUp will be delayed a day or so due to some summer vacation issues.  Hope everyone can hang on a little longer than usual.  Trust me, much like this week...there's not a lot going on in the world of new releases next week.    Although I know there will be people quick to post that they can't WAIT until they have season 12 of The Simpsons sitting on their shelf!

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

No problems with Firefox 3.5.2 here. Thanks as always for the info!

Nothing new this week; Adam-12 s3 eventually (don't have s2 yet). From a previous week's round-up, Doctor Who: The Rescue/The Romans just came in courtesy of this weekend's 40% Borders coupon.

It looks like the tough economy got Target to re-think its price-matching policy:  apparently they quietly re-instated it about two weeks ago.  There is in-store signing (especially in Electronics) and it states that they will match on the exact item when you bring in a print ad.  Not sure of all the details yet, but it is a good thing to know.  In fact, checking the ad from Sunday, there's no mention of it yet.

Yeah, I had a bit of a panic attack at 6am this morning when I didn't see it posted.  How do I know where the best place to pick up Hanna Montana will be?
