I have a Sylvania TV that I've had since 2001. Lately, the remote to it has not been working. Replacing the batteries didn't do anything, so I figured it was time for a new remote. I purchased a new universal remote today and it doesn't seem to do anything either. I also tried reprogramming another universal remote I had with no success. I think the universal remotes are being programmed properly, it just seems like the TV isn't recognizing it. Is this something that can be easily fixed or is it time for a new TV?
