They are about equal in quality and features. The Denon does have one more HDMI input and one more optical input, if that makes a difference to them. The yamaha's remote will probably be easier to learn and use. Sorry 'bout the Bose speakers though..........

Bose are
WAY overpriced, and just not cared for in the home theater world. Do a forum search for Bose, and see what turns up, at any home theater forum. See here:

Speakers are the most important part of an HT system. Everybody says to listen to as many different ones, as you can, and get what sounds best to you. You're the one that will be listening to them. SVS is an online only company. They are known to make one of the best subs there is. They also make very good speaker
sets. Since they are online only, you can't listen first. But they have a very good return policy, if you end up not liking them, and they have excellent customer service. See them here:
