Sony's "Fan Favorites"? Says whom?

Looking at the list of (Currently known) shows being released, I am wondering how they figured these episodes were "Fan Favorites"?

I don't ever recall any fans being asked what their favorites were?

Perhaps they should best be called "Episodes we THINK are the Favorite of The Fans" or "We're Calling them FAN FAVORITES to get people to buy them." 

Why not call it "Memorable Episodes" That's a better overall description of what they are doing.  We all have different favorite episodes,but some more than others stand out.

However, we are talking SONY's TV DVD division which sadly lags behind the Film DVD division when it comes to library product..

The film department has new people running it. That's why they've turned over a new leaf. The TV department seems to have the same yahoos in charge.
