mind your language

I was introduce to the old bbc series called mind your language and found it was very funny. I just purchased the dvd and would recommend this show.

It wasn't a BBC programme, it was shown on ITV having been made by LWT (London Weekend Television).

The series, by the way, was a late 1970s comedy set in a London adult education school, about a group of people from various nationalities being taught English as a second language. As you'd expect from that era, the various racial stereotypes were played up quite a lot.

Great stuff, I loved the show when I first saw it, in the early 80s.  Note though that the DVDs are incomplete:-

the show came back briefly in 1986, but, was cancel, because how it depicted the nationalities. I find the show very funny. I am so happy that I have the dvd and plan to introduce it to several of my friends over the years.

the actual dvd is missing few of the episodes and it is not complete. It is missing the school bus trip and the time when Mr Brown was sick. Overall, the dvd is great and love watching this show. It is another great british comedy!!!
