 – Facing the Giants, the $100,000 church-made film that scored a $10 million box office touchdown and launched the Kendrick brothers’ winning streak as filmmakers, willmake its Blu-ray™ High-Def debut September 9 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The film is an action-packed drama about a Christian high school football coach who uses his undying faith to battle the giants of fear and failure and is loaded with bonus features including behind-the-scenes featurettes and deleted scenesFacing the Giants will be available on Blu-ray for $28.95 SRP.

 

In addition, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release a DVD box set on September 8 featuringFireproof and Facing the Giants, along with the third Kendrick brothers’ hit Flywheel. The three-disccollection will be available for $47.95 SRP.

 

Facing the Giants Synopsis:

In six years of coaching, Grant Taylor (Alex Kendrick) has never led his Shiloh Eagles to a winning season. After learning that he and his wife Brooke face infertility, Grant discovers that a group of fathers are secretly organizing to have him dismissed as head coach. Devastated by his circumstances, he cries out to God in desperation. When Grant receives a message from an unexpected visitor, he searches for a stronger purpose for his football team. He dares to challenge his players to believe in God for the impossible on and off the field. When faced with unbelievable odds, the Eagles must step up to their greatest test yet of strength and courage.

Flywheel Synopsis:

Many unsuspecting victims have fallen prey to the smiling face and hasty promises of used car salesman Jay Austin (Alex Kendrick). Austin does everything his way until his dishonesty and manipulation are repeatedly exposed. Like many men, he becomes disgusted by the masks he wears and lies he tells. While having a classic convertible repaired, Austin begins a humorous and inspiring journey to win back the hearts of his wife, his son, and his community. In every man’s life, there can be a turning point. When Jay Austin makes his turn, he never looks back.
