Any chance of Evita on Blu Ray?

Watched Evita last night.  Non anamorphic, single layer and with rather "thin" sound; seems like a titlte that must warrant a Blu release.  Is there any hope of a Blu Ray release on the way?

I would hope Criterion would release it on BD... I have the old Criterion laserdisc that cost 124.99 when it was released. Would be nice to have it carried over to BLU the standard DVD is very lacking... really not so great release.

I'd be all over it.  Heck, I'd be all over a remastered SD edition if that's all we could get.
