To Help Bring Summer Vacation Into Homes!
‘Movie Staycation’ Promotion Runs Through September 30
CULVER CITY, CALIF. (July 20, 2009)—This summer save money and cool off in the comfort of your own home with a “Movie Staycation” from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Featuring hundreds of DVD titles under $10.00 in major retail outlets, drug and grocery stores nationwide, the campaign directs consumers to visit the “Movie Staycation” website, www.moviestaycation.com, where they can instantly receive a downloadable $2.00 coupon for DVD and a $3.00 coupon for Blu-ray DiscTM for future purchases. While online, fans and consumers can also register their discs to receive a “stamp” in their virtual passport. With six qualified DVD or Blu-ray DiscTM purchases, or “stamps,” consumers will receive a free gift. The titles involved in the program will be packaged with a “Movie Staycation” national sticker.

More than 120 titles will be available on DVD and Blu-ray DiscTM through the promotion, including Cruel Intentions, Hitch, Seven Years in Tibet, A Few Good Men, Easy Rider, Riding Giants, Donnie Brasco, The Professional, Lawrence of Arabia, Not Another Teen Movie, The Wedding Planner, Bad Boys II, Hook,Resident Evil, La Bamba and Les Miserables. The promotion will run through September 30, 2009.
