Yamaha RX-V765 just arrived

Let me start off by saying that I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. It will be another week before I can give it a good test run, because vacation is imminent.

First impressions are very good, though. Build quality seems to be fine and I'm pretty sure the front panel is metal (I wasn't expecting that in this price range). Volume knob has the right "feel" and resistance when it's turned. I'm not detecting any kind of mechanical grinding (for lack of better word) which I have found to be the case with other receivers.
Speaker binding posts could be of higher quality - they are very standard. Why can't they make them in tough acryllic instead?!

I'll post my impressions on how it actually performs when I get back from vacation in about a week.

Questions are welcome

Hi Lars
I bought my Yamaha RXV765 last June and so far I'm very happy with it. I also haven't had much time to fully enjoy it as my summers are very busy but once the summer is over my wife and I will be able to fully enjoy it on those cold winter nights.
Cheers
