Replacing an old Yamaha Receiver. Would like to have turntable connection, XM Radio and capability to run an additional
two speakers in another room. Have a surround sound system with a single sub woofer.
I have looked at the following Receivers : Onkyo TX-SR607 , Pioneer VSX1019AH-K  and Yamaha RX-V665BL.
Receiver depth is a limitation, max of 14.5 - 15.0 in.
Budget is $400 - $600.

I swear by Yamaha.  I've had two so far and if I upgraded again I'd probably go with another Yamaha.  Sounds like this model will do what you are looking for.  The nice thing about yamaha is a lot of their components are Yamaha made unlike other compaines who use the same mass manufactured processors.  Yamaha all the way.

Of the ones you have looked at, Onkyo will give you most features for the best price.  Onkyo includes Audyssey EQ, which IMO is the best room correction available.  You may be able to find the Onkyo 706 in your price range.

Any of these will be fine, but none of them have a phono input.  You'll have to get a separate phono pre-amp, or turntable with built in pre-amp.

The Onkyo TX-SR 706 has the phono input, and other requirements, you asked for. Amazon.com has it in your price range too.
