CHE has been released in Europe and is available from Amazon UK in a two disc set for SD and BluRay DVD.  I purchased the SD DVD set.

Video:  Region 2 PAL (576i) Anamorphic Widescreen
Audio:  Dolby Digital 5.1 in Spanish with English subtitles

Part One:  Running time 128 minutes.  Follows Guevara's adventurous journey from his beginnings as a young, politically active physician to becoming one of the most feared and respected militant  revolutions in South America.

Part Two:  Running time 129 minutes.  The Guevara saga takes us to the height of the Cold War, a time of espionage and subterfuge, and into the dark, violent extremes and merciless terrain of the Bolivian jungles - a journey from which Che would not return from.

The movie is terrific and Steven Soderbergh never strays from the story of Che by not adding non-relevant sub plots.  The movie plays like something you would see on the History Channel with narration and b & w scenes of historical events mixed with superb acting and story telling.  This is a dramatic story with bits of action that never becomes boring and is very easy to follow.

The video is excellent vivid colors and because PAL is 576i displays lots of detail. The b & w parts are very well done and are not disruptive.  The 576i up converted to 1080P looked really good on my Sony Bravia LCD.

The audio is quiet during the many dramatic parts with the sound mostly in the center and front speakers.  During the battle scenes the audio is very well distributed throughout the 5 speakers with the sub-woofer adding explosive sounds.

I highly recommend this movie for those that enjoy history type dramatic stories.  This movies plays more like Patton and not at all like Alexander.
