Culver City, CA (July 13, 2009) – Little Miss Sunshine, Mr. Tickle and all the beloved citizens of Dillydale are coming to DVD!  Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announces the release of Mr. Tickle Presents:  Tickle Time Around Town! and Little Miss Sunshine Presents:  Fun in the Sun!, two new-to-DVD volumes created from hilarious episodes from The Mr. Men Show, as seen on Cartoon Network. Premiering on DVD September 22, 2009 for a family-friendly SRP of $16.97, each DVD contains six humorous shows, grouped by similar themes plus toe-tapping songs, and four fantastic bonus features, designed to give kids interactive experiences with their favorite characters. The Mr. Men Show DVDs will launch with one of two exclusive, collectible 16-page storybooks, available on shelves while supplies last.

The Mr. Men Show creators Eryk Casemior and Kate Boutilier were recently nominated for a 2009 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Writing in Animation for their work on this series and are also the team behind “Rugrats” and “The Wild Thornberrys.”    Based on the classic book series by Roger Hargreaves, which has sold over 100 million copies, The Mr. Men Show directly connects to the emotions and personalities that kids experience every single day.  From Little Miss Chatterbox and Mr. Bump to Little Miss Sunshine, children easily identify with the more than 25 characters of The Mr. Men Show. This animated sketch comedy for kids features fast-paced physical humor and clever quips. 

Mr. Tickle Presents:  Tickle Time Around Town! includes the episodes “Parade,” “Sightseeing,” “Movies,” “Mall,” “Farm” and “Dillydale Day.”  Little Miss Sunshine Presents:  Fun in the Sun! features “Fair,” “Wildlife,” “Amusement Park,” “Beach,” “Lake” and “Science.”

 In addition to the new DVD releases, The Mr. Men Show will supported by a new Fall 2009 toyline from master toy licensee Fisher-Price and 12 new books from publishing partner Penguin.  The second season ofThe Mr. Men Show will launch on Cartoon Network in September 2009.
