Connecting TV, home cinema and Foxsat HDR

Hi, my name is Roger. I have a Panasonic 1080i TV with one HDMI, a Philips HTS3367 home cimema with one HDMI, and a Foxsat HDR, again with one HDMI. Got them all coneected through HDMI switch, but want surround sound from TV/HDR, not just the home cimema.

Have tried a Optical to Coax Digital Audio Converter, but no success.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

You have the optical/coax converter connected directly to the Foxsat, *not* the Panasonic TV?
Correct input selected on the Phillips?

You probably want to hunt down a UK home cinema forum, find someone who has a Foxsat.  (This is U.S. based forum, so we don't have direct experience with some of your brands).

It could be a number of things, but I can only guess:
- setting on the Foxsat, to turn on/configure the digital audio out (Dolby digital on?)
- setting on Philips to select the digital out (perhaps can borrow a friend's DVD player w/ coax + optical outs, feed directly to the Philips + through the converter, so that you can rule out either of these being the problem and focus on the Foxsat)
