Need advice for a good and not too expensive Home theatre kit !

Hey there !

I just moved into a small appartement. It's soundproof, so volume shouldn't be a problem.  I'm looking for a 5.1 HT, as cheap as possible but that has a decent sound.

You guys know a lot about HT kit, so I'm sure that someone can recommend a specific system.  I have a MAXIMUM budget of 400$ for this, but cheaper would be better.

I'll be using it for TV,movies, gaming and music.

The room is 8" tall, 14 " long and 10" wide.

Thanks !!!

Who is Me?

I don't have any specific recommendations... I just wanted to note that bass sound will travel through many "soundproof" structures.  You could still end up pissing off the neighbors if you are not careful.

I've got a full stack Marshall JCM 2000 in my room, I play at 3-4 and I never bothered anyone yet.

Really, bass isn't an issue here.

OK, but that is not really bass.  An open E on a bass guitar is still above 40hz.

Just an FYI is all.  Good luck.

$400 is really quite limiting.  Maybe:

Yamaha NS-SP1800BL speakers
