Released by Kinowelt in Germany July 17.
No indication if there will be English subtitles.

Does this mean a region 1 release will follow soon?

If anyone plans on getting this, let us know how it looks and if it has subtitles.

I can't believe noone is interested in this long-lost Bergman film.

Thanks for the head's up, I had no idea this was finally going to be available.  Here's hoping for some English subtitles on the disc.

It's not one of Bergman's better scripts, but worthwhile for Ullmann's performance alone.

Unless it's region 0, though, I'm out of luck.

None of the Bergman discs from Kinowelt had english subtitles and "Ansikte mot ansikte" was announced only with German subtitles, too.
