Hi All,

I just bought a house and can't figure out how best to place my speakers.  I have Klipsh Quintet IIIs, by the way.  5.1 system.

I can't center my TV in the room because we have a huge fireplace in the middle of the wall and built-ins on either side. One of which is designed to hold my TV.  I can't change the TV placement. The mantle on the fireplace is too high to mount it above that area.  I cannot rearange the room as my fiance will not let me.  This is how it looks:

______TV_______FIREPLACE__bookshelves__

_____Chair______ ______Sofa_________

Gievn these constraints, what should I do?  I have the ability to angle the tv so everyone on the sofa can watch.  I have been debating mounting everything in the ceiling (Front and rear) and directing them down to the viewing area.  I can keep the center channel above the TV on the shelf.

Am I better off placing the fronts close on either side of the tv, or mounting them on the ceiling the same width as the rears, which must go on the ceiling given that there is no other option.  My ceilings are 12 ft high.  The rears will be mounted about 12' apart (the length of the sofa and chair).

Thanks for any help!
