Ok gang here's the deal hope you can help...
First some info:
I have a sony ht ss1300 amp that is the "hub" of my xbox, ps3, blu ray player (Sony bdps350), Sky+ HD and a Mac mini. With the help of this very forum it all looks (Sony DL40w4000) and sounds flawlessly via my one Harmony remote. Beautiful.
Now the issue:
With a newborn on the way I was wondering if there is any way to have wireless headphones that connects to the amp and that work just as flawlessly ... I know it sounds easy enough, but Ive have come across a few problems
1) the htss1300 does not have a headphone jack (strange I think?)
2) it does have a digital media port to which I can attached a bluetooth reciever but from what Ive seen it only receives and does not export (not sure is this is correct term) sound
3) whilst my TV and the various components probally do have headphone jacks all the sound comes through the amp speakers.
Ideally I want to just plug the headphones receiver to the amp or somehow bluetooth it in only. I do not want to have to connect the headphone to each indvidual component when I wanna have the sound go through the headphones. Hope I am clear enough.
Just to move things along... the 1300 amp has:
2-opt in jack (currently used -- SKY+ box; Mac Mini)
1- coax in jack (unused)
3 HDMI in (used--ps3, xbox360, Blu ray)
1-HDMI out (used-- to TV)
3- Audio in white/red jacks (unused)
1-DMPORT (unused)
Like I said before you guys were instrumental in getting my current set-up so I know that I will get the answers I need.
Thanks
