So this thing is over 8 years old now and yesterday, it started hissing and popping. I like them very much and I know the speakers and sub seem fine but I think the control pod or some other trivial component is now dead. I could have it repaired but r there any other similar systems out there for the PC? I know, I know, I can slap a cheapo 5.1 receiver and a 10" sub and I'm golden. But that seems to be too much stuff fired up for a PC. It is my last resort ..kinda.
