Q on speaker placement

hello guys,
i have setup my Pioneer 5.1 HTIB for my PC but i have few Q regarding the speaker placements.

the L and R front speakers are set at equal distances apart from the monitor at ear level and angled towards the listener.
but the only option for me to place the center speaker is ABOVE the monitor, that means the LR speakers are at ear level and center is above ear level. is it ok?
is it better to leave as it is or should i lift the L and R speakers to the height of the center speaker?

Since ill be hooking up the surround speakers on screws i wont be able to angle it towards the listener...is it ok since my room is very small and the speakers are not placed very wide?

thank you

Re: Q on speaker placement

Many folks have their center above their TV and it works fine. Try to angle the center down a bit if you can.

The surrounds should be on either side of the listener and slightly above ear level (a few feet). The don't have to be pointed directly at the listener to be effective.
