Wanted: Dead or Alive DVD news: Announcement for Mill Creek releases of Wanted: Dead or Alive | TVShowsOnDVD.com

Nice to see Mill Creek picked up the release, but can they really release so many discs for such a cheap price? Makes me worry a bit about the quality of the release. Granted, Mill Creek isn't a fly-by-night operation, just a concern about the quality of the image or the potential lack of extras.

Still, it's at least got my interest.

Knowing Mill Creek. it will certainly be a "Bare Bones" release with no extras. But at the price they're charging who's complaining?

Heck, this may end up on Wally's bargain Bin where I'll snatch it up with a "Dealer Card"!

If you shop around a bit, you can still get the BCI Eclipse versions. Oldies.com has seasons 1 & 2 for $12.95 each, plus shipping and I believe Daedalus Books has season 1 for the same price. I'm guessing that Mill Creek will probably dump the extras that were on the New Line and BCI Eclipses for this release, unless they were a part of a package deal for DVD rights to the series.

Well, now reading the updated information, it sounds like Mill Creek may be doing just a straight re-issue of what was done before, so one may assume that there will be no changes. Just have to wait and see, I suppose.

Given the low MSRP for the sets, I doubt that you'll see anything different from the older sets. I think the best you can hope for on the new Mill Creek sets is that some or all of the extras will be carried over from the New Line and BCI Eclipse sets.
