Apologies if this is not the place to post this, but I need help.
Last night, out of the blue, my player started giving the error (or something similar to it):
Region code error: the region of the disc does not match region of player.
When I went to check the setup tab, I discovered my player thought it was in Albania!!! I figured I could just set it back to Region 1 USA, but it won't let me.
I've had this player for 6 years and never had an issue. I contacted Yamaha and they say the machine needs service. I was wondering if anyone here knew of a possible fix before I junk it and replace it with a Blu-Ray player.
