The Disclaimer
Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Man, that BB price on the Star Trek BD 6-pack is tempting. I could ask for it for a Father's Day gift, but I don't have any kids.

At least none that I know of.

For those who don't know, there's a coupon from Sony for $5 off the Ghostbusters Blu-ray:

Seems like a great deal to save $5 off the $20 Best Buy price.

I'll have to pick up The Outlaw at that BB price. Naturally, I'm interested in the film because of the ... uh ... Wild West theme. Yeah, that's the angle that interests me.

Rather big release week this week. I've got both seasons of LOST coming from Amazon for $63. I'd like to bite on all the BD Friday the 13th stuff, but I have a feeling they'll all be on sale rather soon. Ditto on Spaceballs.

First a thanks to Mike and Patrick for providing the first HTF thread I read on Sunday mornings!

I apologize if I am stepping on toes but thought I would throw in that Costco has, in their latest coupon book which runs June 15th thru July 5th, $20. off Warner Bros. Blu-Ray Assorted Collections.

Titles Include:

Batman Anthology
Ultimate Matrix
Harry Potter Years 1 - 5
And/Or Dirty Harry Collector's Edition

No limit.

Also available at Costco.com

When I was in Costco last weekend those box sets were going for $88 each.

There is also a coupon for $50 off The Sopranos Complete Series DVD Gift Set. I do not know what the current price is.

That's a great price on the 2-disc Zodiac! If you already have the DE-DVD, try to find a BD copy with the $10 trade-up rebate sticker on the case. If you are a fan of David Fincher, it is well worth adding to your library... especially for just $4.99 when you upgrade!

Just the Stooges for me this week. There was a Sunday coupon insert from Sony last week and there was a $3 off coupon for any Stooge set in it, so under $15 will be a great price.

Also, I went to Target Sunday to get my $6 back for buying Gran Torino last week when it was released. Silly me, thinking it would be cheaper on the first week of release!! Just glad I kept my receipt.

Re: Weekly RoundUp 6-16-2009

Something I will definitely pick up tomorrow from Amazon (unless BB or Target get it in) is "Chess: Live in Concert". It's the musical that Bjorn and Benny from ABBA wrote with Tim Rice about twenty years ago and includes "One Night In Bangkok", "Heaven Help My Heart" and "I Know Him So Well". This version stars Josh Groban and IIdina Menzel with the London Symphony Orchestra.
Amazon.com: Chess in Concert: Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal, David Bedella, Hugh Wooldridge: Movies & TV
There's also a single CD highlights version Amazon.com: Highlights From Chess in Concert: Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal: Music and the full 2 disc version Amazon.com: Chess in Concert (2 CD): Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal: Music

Target has the CDs in their ad, so I'm hoping the DVD will be available too.
One of my favorite albums...

Amazon has a sale where if you buy two Lost Blu-ray sets, you get $20 off ($30 off if you buy 3 and $40 off if you buy all 4) the total so you can S1 and S2 for $78. The coupon code is 'LOSTBLUS' and I think it ends in mid-July but don't quote me on that end date.

I forgot earlier but there's supposed to be a $20 mail-in rebate too if you have the DVD (you send in the receipt for the Blu-ray and the proof of purchase from the DVD). I'd guess that it's one rebate per person (so you can't get $40 off for both S1 and S2) but that gets it down even more.

I'm confused. These are listed for $48.99 ea. minus $20. Isn't that more like $77 and change? Is there another discount code floating around?
