I posted this in a nother forum, but it was really no help. hope someone here can.
I have a brand new WD73835 Mitsubishi TV. I am very happy with the TV other than getting NetCommand to work. All i want it to do is control my AV receiver. It is an older Onkyo HT-R510 with no HDMI control.
I went through the manual and through countless calls to Mits support. No luck. I am looking for someone who really seems to know how the NetComand system should work because I could not even get that much from tech support.
Problem is I need to control the AV receiver. By what i read and by what i see during the setup it appears once the AVR commands are learned and the AVR discrete inputs assigned to my different video inputs to my TV that the TV would switch on/off and change inputs on my AVR automatically as I change the inputs on the TV.
Does anyone have the IR emitter working to control their AVR? AND knows how to make it work?
