I'm in the market for a 40" LCD set. I want the 120Mhz refresh and the thin Bezel. I'm not a big Sony fan as a conpany..but they do make decent products. I do not know much about Mitsubishi other than they too make a decent product.

I'm trying to decide which set to purchase...the:

Sony KDL40VL160 (which is similar to the Sony "Z" series but has a tuner) at Costco

Or

Mitsubishi LT40148.

Both sets appear to be comparable and are close in price.

Costco offers a two year warranty extension at no charge and a 90 day return where the Mitsubishi will be bought through an Online seller.

I'm hoping someone has the Mits set and can tell me about it's performance. I've read much about the Sony...good and bad.
