Re: WHV Press Release: The Wizard of Oz 70th Anniversary UCE (DVD/Blu-ray)
Thanks for the code as I was able to buy "Gone with the Wind", "Lord of the Rings Trilogy" and "Sarah Connors Chronicles Season 2" for $47.66 tax included for each item with free shipping.

Excuse me, but that was several months ago. There would have been sufficient time to announce both editions by now.

Such a decision was likely above their authority, and all they were indicating was that they would pass the word upstairs, and the marketing people probably overruled them.

Brandon,
I also tend to agree that there was probably a lot of red tape involved
in the decision making process to put out just one sku of this title.

What are the latest coupon codes that are working for you and
where did you buy? If I can get TWOO and GWTW for at least
30% off then I will make the purchase.

Those "wbsurvey" coupons are handed out in exchange for answering surveys in WB Shop emails. If you want to get the coupons ASAP, just sign up for their email. (And, you know, fill out the little survey like they ask.

Warner reads just about every related thread on this forum.
If anyone is getting around their survey codes (which up until this
point I had no idea you had to take a survey), they will put a stop
to it. This may be why some of you are having problems.

I continue to be completely underwhelmed with Warner's wbshop website. Just horribly designed and executed.

It might not have anything to do with the website, but Warner closing the discount loop on those expensive boxsets.

They read the forum, but some corporate decisions are in concrete until the market forces change in those decisions.

It depends if the person making the final decision is actually reading the forum!? If any of these titles are released in other regions with a more affordable price tag then perhaps those sales figures in comparison to what's sold in America with this $60+ price tag will give that person some hard feedback. Take that for what it's worth.

It would be even better if they just ditched the "coupon" and provided an edition of Ben-Hur for under $40 retail.
