The Disclaimer
Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

The Specials

Re: Weekly RoundUp 6-9-2009

Gonna be the regular version of Simpsons S11 since I've been trading out the head cases recently. And I'm awful tempted on Taken BD at $23...but the DDD sale is coming soon and that should be a better price, assuming their price stays the same and the discount is 20%.

Re: Weekly RoundUp 6-9-2009

Woodstock Blu for sure, but I am still trying to decide which store version. It doesn't appear that BB has any exclusive content, but both Target and Amazon do. Does anyone else?

And I thought everyone would be jumping all over Fired Up this week...

Gary: I have not heard of any other retailer with exclusives on Woodstock.

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

No love for teen comedies, Mike? Obviously it won't rank up there with Casablanca but from what I've read, it sounds pretty good (for what it is, of course).
Does anyone even click on these "My Collection" links?

I'm just sayin'...

And I'm glad Scott is willing to go on record that he's in favor of Fired Up!.

Re: Weekly RoundUp 6-9-2009

Thanks as always Mike & Patrick.

Just ordered The International and Gran Torino, both on Blu-ray, from Amazon.

Amazon has dropped the price by a buck on The International to $26.99. Also, use the promo code SONYPIC3 to save another 3 bucks.

Amazon has another code (SONYPIC5) to save $5 off of other select Blu-rays, in addition to the SONYPIC3 code. Both of these codes should work for select Sony Blu-ray titles at Amazon per this sheet of coupons:

http://www.sonypictures.com/homevide...ay_Coupons.pdf

Unfortunately I cannot access this sheet. For some reason I always get some stupid file I/O error when I try to access a PDF at sonypictures.com. I really need Walt Kowalski to get on the phone for me with Sony Tech / Customer support to straighten this mess out.

Re: Weekly RoundUp 6-9-2009

The bf needed to go to BB last night to get more photo paper and ink, so I managed to snag Total Recall ($10, BD), I, Robot ($13, BD) and the new T2 ($15, BD) for $35. The cashier even used one of their coupons for this weekend for a bit more off. She said the fine print says NOT on sale items, but it works. Of course, YMMV.
