Black Screen on Mitsubishi WS-A55

I bought my Mitsubishi WS-A55 about 6 years ago and it has always worked well. Recently, while watching it, the screen just went black but the sound is fine. I checked all the inputs with the same result. I checked the error code and it was "12" which means normal operation. Any ideas?

Well , how old is it?, do you have any strange noises coming from the tv? and... what about the sound ?.
you get audio right ?. have you ever replaced the lamp on your tv?
