2000 – Giants shutout Vikings 41-0 in NFC Championship Game.

For a GREATEST GAMES compilation, I find it odd there's nothing before 1986-surely the Giants had some great games before then that exist?

Since they won four NFL titles pre-1986, you'd think so. Perhaps the DVD should be titled "New York Giants Greatest Games For Which We Have Good Film Footage"?

I would suspect that is the issue. Anyone who is a Giants fan knows that prior to '86, they pretty much sucked going back all the way to the pre-merger days. Picking up the History of the New York Giants set will get you the '58 Giants/Colts championship game. Anything else likely doesn't have complete footage available.

I wonder if last year's Super Bowl will be in anamorphic widescreen on this set since it wasn't on the Road to the SB set they released last year. Afterall, widescreen was the "original network broadcast format," as the press release says that these are.

Man, that 15-13 win over the '49ers was one of the most exciting games I've ever had the pleasure to witness. LT strips the ball from Roger Craig and Jim Burt recovers it. And then with time expiring, Raul Alegre boots a 40-yarder to seal the win. To me, that game was more exciting than the following week's SB win over Buffalo.

Wish this was coming out in time for Father's Day, as it would have been a perfect gift for the old man...a diehard Giant's fan for 55 years.
