I'm scheduled to give some presentations later this year, showing DVDs. I have to supply my own video projector. I could use a laptop for the DVD, or a DVD player attached to the video projector. My concern is audio--I'd like really robust sound, but how best to achieve it with external speakers? I assume the DVD player would require some sort of receiver? Would a home theater type LCD projector be better over a conference type? How best to connect audio then? Sorry about the haze but I'm wondering if anyone here travels and gives talks and must rely on an all-in-one presentation setup. The rooms in question would not be particularly large--maybe classroom size, not auditorium!
Thanks for any insight.
