I'm wondering if someone can help answer what I think is probably a really simple question. I'm starting to make family photo books for my wife and I'm going to be using Blurb for printing. I've been reading up on color management and I have a question when it comes to color space, profiles etc.
I know it's a good idea to calibrate my monitor so I'm going to do that but I'm not sure how I apply the results of that in Photoshop. The printer requires the photos to be in sRGB so that's what I have the working space in PS set to. However, if I calibrate the monitor am I supposed to set the working space to what I created during the calibration process?
I've got the profile for the printer in order to soft-proof so I think I've got that squared away. I just need to figure out what to do with the working space under color settings.
BTW, does anyone have an opinion on the Eye-One Display 2? I'd be using this on a 2007 iMac, not one of the newer glossy screen versions.
