pioneer vsx-819h-k no sound from center speaker

i have tried every thing it only gets sound when i do a sound test for all the speakers i am frustrated with this and i dont want to have to take the reciever back if its is something i am overlooking if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

My guess is that you have "stereo" mode enabled or your speakers are on speaker AB in which case, again, only stereo is output.
