I have a DCT6412 and currently using Component Video out to my Vizio SV420XVT HDTV. It works very well, but after reading about the DVI to HDMI conversion cable I was wondering which is source connection provides the best video?

I doubt seriously you'd see a difference.
Since cable and sat only broadcast in 1080i and 720p, save the money, and just use the component cables.
