Hi all,
My parents just bought a very nice 52" LCD TV (Samsung 650 Series) that I hooked up for them. After getting their components hooked up (DVD Changer, VCR...digital cable box coming tomorrow) I suggested they consider dumping their very old Aiwa stereo minisystem for a nice HTIB. I would like to get them something complete, with reciever/amplifier unit and all five speakers (think Klipsch Quintet with a modest size sub...size) and their budget would have to be around 800 out the door.
Does anyone here have any suggestions? Maybe something you use in your bedroom or family room that you like?
The reason I am not suggesting a seperate Reciever is for ease of use. They are way out of the tech. loop and it can't be hard to operate, or they will be unhappy. I used to have to set their VCR clock for them before they became automatic.

Get a 2-3 year old 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 receiver from Yamaha/Denon/Onkyo and a decent set of speakers and a Logitech remote (I especially like the Logitech 720 with rechargable base...) and your parents will be golden.
