Thanks, guys.Yep, used a circular polarizer on each of these shots.
Regarding the barn & tractor shots, this was my third 45-minute drive to that site. Wasn't happy with the sky in my first two trips. I'd still like to catch it with a dark, dramatic sky.

If I can interject with a noob-ish question...
Circular polarizer vs linear... I read the difference somewhere, but don't recall the difference?

Thanks, Tony. And good link, Scott.Basically, the filters accomplish the same thing, but modern DLSRs will not focus nor expose correctly through a linear filter. It has to do with the use of TTL (through the lens) metering.
Scott - I see you're in Michigan; each of these photos may have been taken in your 'hood.

They were shot in the Gregory / Pinckney area (just southwest of Brighton).
