I just bought a new Samsung 67 inch TV and money is tight.
I have a 30 year old pair of HPM 100 speakers that still sound nice. I would like to build a home theatre system, starting with these speakers and a Pioneer 5.1 surround receiver that I currently have. Can I begin with these components and add a center channel, rears and sub initially? In time I would look to replace the receiver, get a blu-ray player, then finally replace the HPM's down the road.
