"What's so Bad About Feeling Good?" info?

Dear Guys:

One of my "Holy Grails" is "What's So Bad About Feeling Good?" A 1960's film starring George Peppard and Mary Tyler Moore. It's never been out on video or DVD, I think it might be due to the fact it was a play first than a movie.

I've always enjoyed this forgotten flick and would love to have it on DVD.

I also love Dom Deluise's performance in the play as the President's trouble shooter who is sent to New York City after it has been infected by a virus that makes every one feel good.

Do any of you remember this film? And do any of you hazard any guesses to why it hasn't come out on digital?

Re: "What's so Bad About Feeling Good?" info?

Thelma Ritter had a very small role in the film. I believe it was her last role.
Cute film but probably very dated with Peppard and Moore playing hippies and/or drop outs who join the establishment after getting infected with the bird flu. Film takes place in New York. Flu makes those infected polite so they don't yell at each other. So New Yorkers becomes very unlike what people outside of NY think New Yorkers are like.
This info is not entirely correct but to correct it would lead to spoilers.
