Synopsis
Corporate player Julian Wright (Jason Clarke) stands on the verge of the deal of his career but his life just crossed paths with a woman (Paz Vega) who will turn his world upside down triggering emotions Julian never knew he had. As he pursues her in a dangerous game of seduction, he is forced to confront his past. Jada Pinkett Smith makes her directorial debut with this sophisticated, stylish and suspenseful film.
THE HUMAN CONTRACT features an effective score by composer Anthony Marinelli (Chapter 27, Internal Affairs) and mesmerizing cinematography by Darren Genet (The Key Man, South of Heaven). Its solid ensemble cast includes Joanna Cassidy (TV’s “Six Feet Under”), Caleeb Pinkett (Lakeview Terrace), Steven Brand (The Scorpion King), Anne Ramsay (TV’s “Dexter”), Tava Smiley (Good Luck Chuck, TV’s “The Men7 Show”) and T.J. Thyne (TV’s “Bones”). Also includes additional music by The Graves Brothers.
