Hello everyone,

I just purchased a pair of Klipsch RF-25's for my first foray into home theatering. So I'm now on the search for a receiver. I'm not very knowledgeable in the field so figured I'd ask you folks.

The receiver would need hdmi ports, I've been looking at different ones, but have read that some match better than others. I was looking at yamaha receivers as I've had good experience with them. My dad has a yamaha preamp and amp along with polk speakers, he purchased about 30 years ago and they still sound amazing.

While researching I read that yamaha and klipsch arent necessarily a good match, as klipsch supposedly sound bright as does yamaha, which makes the combo very bright. not sure if this has changed in the past few years or not.

I was looking at the Yamaha RX-V465, but was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a better receiver, especially one that pairs better with the klipsch, and I would be looking at a max budget of $400.
