Denon DVD-758 $69.99 at Costco

I just picked up a Denon DVD-758 for $69.99 at Costco in Rancho Cucamonga, CA this afternoon. I didn't think I'd ever buy another DVD player until I noticed that this model plays both DVD-Audio as well as Super Audio CD discs. I'm not sure if all Costco stores will have them or not but the store here in Rancho Cucamonga had quite a few of them as of this afternoon.

Now I can finally hear that Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon SACD that I bought several years ago! I can also finally hear all of my DVD-Audio discs in their high resolution glory too.

Not a bad deal. I was just thinking that I still need to replace our downstairs model that bit the dust a few months back. May need to check Costco on the way home tomorrow night.

I just sold a 3 year old 756 for $55 at a yard sale! It wasn't really a full fledged Denon, though. I think it was made by Funai. Only weighed about 5 lbs but still it had a nice picture and sound. $69.95 for a new 758 is a real good deal.
