The Disclaimer
Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.
I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!
Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway). |

Re: Weekly RoundUp 4-14-2009
No much to write home about this week.
But any week that I can post pix of Scarlett Johansson, Lindsay Lohan, Kate Winslet and a couple of newcomers like Jill Wagner and Rebecca Neuenswander...it ain't all bad!

Wonder why there's no BD of The Reader this week?!?

Re: Weekly RoundUp 4-14-2009
$25 for Splinter at Best Buy? What are they smoking?? Circuit City would have had this at $17.99. It's just great to have no competition, I guess. I will have to wait until this drops in price in six months.
Otherwise, I will certainly look at picking up The Reader. Nothing else grabs my attention.

Ditto for me.

I cruised through all four hours of House of Saddam today and I can whole heartedly recommend it.
I guess this being an off week is good, considering we're taking a little weekend jaunt down to Indianapolis this weekend and I do like to have some spending money.

Well...I didn't mean to leave Misses McAdams and Chabert off my list. But I am disheartened by the negative vibes across the HTF for La Lohan tonight. I feel empowered to defend her honor. And it's my thread...so I will!

Re: Weekly RoundUp 4-14-2009
^ I've heard it's good, but being 25ish miles from 8 Mile, I am completely sick of hearing the homophobic, racist, sexist and misogynistic crap coming from his mouth. I was tired of his childish antics 7 years ago and I'm totally over him now. Good music doesn't forgive being a douchebag.
