SOLD
Mint condition Pioneer Elite VSX-56txi receiver for sale. Purchased this receiver for my dedicated HT 4.5 years ago for $1800. Based on the time on the projector bulb, this receiver has less than 1500 hours on it.
The last of the Pioneer Elites to use the Mofset Amps, it's still considered to be one of the last truly great sounding Elites.
Includes the receiver, manual, calibration microphone, remote and original box. Asking $475 shipped to the continental US via UPS ground.

I have to do some troubleshooting on my Integra, I think it may be broke. Is this still available?

Philip,
Yes, it's available. I ended up hooking it up to my living room system last week, but I can swap it out with my $50 Sony if you're interested. Shoot me an Email.

Re: Pioneer Elite VSX-56txi
It arrived today in excellent shape. It may be a day or two, or even the weekend before I get it all hooked up. I have three systems I am completely taking apart and putting back together. I was glad to see it is actually almost 3/4" shallower than the receiver it is replacing. I am going to enlarge the access opening in the back of the unit as it is, but I can use all the extra space I can get. Also glad to see it is fan cooled. It will have plenty of room to breathe, but a little help doesn't hurt.

Re: Pioneer Elite VSX-56txi
All hooked up and run through some paces. Very nice unit. I was kind of hesitating because I don't "need" a newer receiver, but buying this allowed me to move my older VSX-26TX to the living room, and the receiver there on to the folks, who really need it. Everyone is better off.
Feedback on the way...
