My favorite female singer of the moment...

... is Melody Gardot. Has anyone else heard of her? I just got into her and I think that she brings something new to the table in the jazz world. She’s got a great voice and I definitely am into her new song “Who will comfort me.” iTunes Store - Melody Gardot - Who Will Comfort Me - Single - Who Will Comfort Me Any thoughts?

I don't know that name. I will look her up.

I frequently listen to a lot of music that my children have on, which accounts for many of the songs I list in this thread. Currently, my eldest daughter is listening to some scat singing of Nikki Yanofsky. It's actually quite good.

Yep Gardot is great. I heard her on a sampler and needed to hear more.
